How far are your Jersey City rentals from New York City?
By car, Lower Manhattan (World Trade Center, SoHo, Brooklyn Bridge) is about 20–25 minutes and Midtown (Empire State Building, Times Square) is 25–35 minutes. By public transit, guests tell us they reach the World Trade Center in about half an hour.
How do I get to Manhattan by public transit?
The MLK Drive Light Rail station is a 5-minute walk and Garfield Ave is 7 minutes. Ride the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail toward Exchange Place or Hoboken and switch to PATH trains into Manhattan. An NJ Transit #6 bus stop is a 3-minute walk, and Journal Square PATH is a 10-minute drive.
Is there parking?
Yes. Both homes have free street parking.
How far is Newark Airport (EWR)?
About 15 minutes by car, which makes either home an easy first or last night of a trip.
Is this a good place to stay for MetLife Stadium concerts and games?
Yes. MetLife Stadium is about 23 minutes away by car, as is the American Dream mall. Sports Illustrated Stadium (home of the NY Red Bulls) is about 10 minutes. Many guests stay with us for concerts, games and tournaments.
Why book direct instead of on Airbnb?
You get the same homes and the same hosts without the platform's guest service fee, and you can talk to us directly. Our calendars are synced with Airbnb, so availability here is up to date.
How does booking direct work?
Pick your dates, click Reserve and pay securely through Stripe. Your card is authorized (held) but not charged until we confirm your stay, usually within a few hours. If we can't host you, the hold is released automatically.
Is paying on this site safe?
Yes. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
How many guests can stay?
Duplex Olive House sleeps 11 (5 bedrooms, 3 baths) and The Mulberry Loft sleeps 8 (3 bedrooms, 2 baths). For larger groups, ask about booking both homes for up to 19 guests.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 4:00 PM with a smart lock, so you can arrive any time after that. Check-out is 10:00 AM. Ask us about early check-in, late check-out or luggage drop-off.
Are the homes good for kids?
Yes. Both have a high chair, children's dinnerware and board games. Duplex Olive House has a bunk-bed kids' room with a Pac-Man arcade. Please supervise children on the stairs and games.
Can we have a party or event?
No parties or events. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM out of respect for our neighbors. Family reunions, girls' trips and friends' getaways are very welcome within the house rules.
Are pets allowed? Can we smoke?
Pets are not allowed, and smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere inside either home.
Is there a washer and dryer?
Duplex Olive House has a washer and dryer. The Mulberry Loft has a drying rack, and there is a laundromat nearby.
Can I stay for a month or work remotely?
Yes. Long stays are welcome, and both homes have fast Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace. Email us for longer-stay pricing.
What is the neighborhood like?
A residential part of Jersey City that guests describe as quiet and safe, with a convenience store around the corner, a supermarket and pizzeria within walking distance, and Arlington Park about 5 minutes away on foot. The exact address is shared after booking.
